Description

• Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect light or dappled sun for optimal growth. Vanilla Bean Plants naturally thrive under the canopy of taller trees, so avoid intense direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Ideal for placement near east- or south-facing windows with filtered light.
• Watering Needs: Maintain evenly moist soil during the active growing season, allowing the top layer to slightly dry out between waterings. Reduce watering in cooler months but do not allow the roots to fully dry. Humidity levels of 60% or higher are beneficial for healthy development.

It flourishes in warm temperatures between 7090F and should be protected from cold drafts or temperatures below 60F. Best grown indoors or in a greenhouse in cooler climates.
• Plant Appearance: Features thick, succulent-like green stems with alternating, leathery, ovate leaves that are deep green and glossy. The plants elegant, climbing habit and exotic flowers give it a tropical, ornamental appeal even before it begins producing vanilla pods.
